RockAByte, developer and publisher of games and applications for online, mobile and handheld platforms, releases on behalf of the company Brunner AG, Print and Media, Kriens in Switzerland, the restaurant guide "Gastroführer guide-bleu.ch" as a digital companion in the App Store.
The iPhone application of the old-established and premier Swiss gourmets guide "guide-bleu.ch" is providing all the important information you need to know about good cuisine in Switzerland. With the touch of a finger, the iPhone's position will be determined via GPS and the software displays all restaurants in the near area around together with the related information. The user is able to access the most important attributes of a total of 140 categories of the tested restaurants, which are assessed by an editorial team of 66 persons. Besides other attributes, the application includes information about the distance to the selected restaurant, types of cuisine and interior, business hours and different prices (menu, lunch or a la carte), payment options, offered on-site parking capacities and even if the restaurant is handicapped accessible. The quality of the audited restaurants is strictly respected.
In addition to the guide-bleu.ch tested and certified locations, the app also features more than 3000 restaurant tips with address, phone number, website and e-mail address, which are published in 14 other Swiss restaurant guides.
